DONALD ETIENNE, percussions

Donald, born and raised in Haiti, started his percussive studies at Hunter College in 1992.  That same summer he joined La Troupe Makandal as percussionist and has performed with them at Carnegie Hall, the 92Y in New York and in Washington.  Donald is also a passionate poet and artist, has participated in many poetry contests and won several awards and certificates of merit.
